Thorpe Lea Fishery is a Stillwater fishery located in Surrey.
stocked with over 2,500 carp up to a lake record of 37lb 7oz
With over 30 different 30lb carp
hundreds of 20lb carp with
an average size carp ranging from 16 lb -19lb
with many anglers finding 1 in 4 carp to be a 20lb +.
and even some small grow on carp have been caught
mostly mirror carp but there are many commons also.
The venue is predominantly a carp fishery
but many angles have been having fun catching other species of fish with perch from a couple of inches to over 4lb
please note we do not allow lures/spinners
dead or live baits to be used
only worms maggots for the perch.
we have 2 easy access for wheel chair users but other swims can be used for wheel chairs if u wish.
Night fishing is also possible at this venue.
A tackle shop is available on-site with many essentials with a
small collection of
landing nets unhooking mats
rods reels
new and used
bait and end tackle
Food and drink can be purchased on-site too.
and local takeaways that deliver in the evening menus onsite
The site features on-site toilets.
We also run a buggy service to transport your gear to your swim for a small fee
weather permitting

The main tactics used are
small 10-12mm brightly coloured hook baits mainly pop-ups
paired with a pva bag of pellet
and spodding pellets and corn over the top
or the solid pva bags technic

Fishery Rules
All basic rules apply
:BARBED hooks only no barbless
:Only marked pegs to be fished with 2 rods maximum per swim
:All fish to be RETURNED to the water as soon as possible
:Large padded unhooking mats to be used at all times for fish.
:Minimum of a 36" landing net to be used.
:No bait boats
:No sacking fish over night or keep nets
:No leaving your rods unattended
:No braided mainline or leaders on fishing rods only spod/marker and hook links are allowed to be braid
:Tubing or leadcore /safezone leaders have to be used
:Only hemp-corn-maize-pellets-boilies-chum mixxers-method mix and pre prepaired bait company particles to be used only
:No vitalin or pidgeon conditioner to be used
:No nuts what so ever

Fishery Costs
Adult day £12.
Junior day £9 each jnr needs to be accompanied by an adult over 21.
Oap / disabled day £9.
Adult 24 hr £24.
Junior 24 hr £18 each jnr needs to be accompanied by an adult over 21 at all times.
Oap / disabled 24 hr £18.
and all anglers are welcome to stay for as many days and nights as required
prices are set prices so
48 hours would be 2x 24 hour tickets =£48 and so on

Opening Hours
We open at
7AM
and closing times vary thru out the year
closing no later than 7pm
open 363 days a year
with a locked in car park so no entry or exit after hours for security
we do have a 24 hour bailiffs onsite so in case of any emergency
u can be let out at any time by contacting the onsite bailiff on 07934000559.
