Rosemere Syndicate is a small 5 acre lake, fully otter fenced, with a stock of approximately 60 carp, including over 33 different fish over 30lbs, of which 19 of these are over 35lb including 9 to 12 40s at the right time of year and up to the current lake record of 59lbs. 4oz Night fishing is possible at this venue and features on-site toilets.

Rosemere Syndicate Rules
Site Rules
•No entry or exit from the site between the hrs of 10:30pm -5am.
•No litter (take your rubbish home)
•Please keep noise levels to a minimum at all times.
•Always shut and lock the gate and container doors behind you.
•No fires
Barbecues to be kept off the ground.
The barbecues have been provided for your benefit please look after them
and clean them after use.
•All vehicles to be parked in the car park after unloading from the ROAD NOT GRASS at the nearest point to your swim. DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS ANYWHERE ON SITE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
•Alcohol is permitted on the fishery, however being drunk whilst fishing is not acceptable.
•Any takeaways must be ordered by 9:30pm at the latest.
•All dogs must be kept in the swim you are fishing at all times (clean up after your dog)
•No bankside vegetation is to be pruned/cut without consent from owners.
Angling Rules
•3 rod limit.
•Each angler is permitted to fish for 48hrs only per week unless arranged previously with owner’s.
•Midweek anglers are permitted to fish between midday sunday and midday Friday.
Weekend anglers midday Thurday -midday Monday.
•Specific to point swim, On first fishing this swim it is advised that you walk up the bank to your left until you come to the telegraph pole and then look across the lake following the power cable’s so that you are aware of just how close to the point swim they are. No overhead casting towards the cables ( a sideways flick or underarm cast will suffice) If you cast over the cables you will be sent home from the fishery… do it a second time and you will be banned from the swim for 1 year ,failure to report such incidents and you will be banned from the fishery with immediate effect. THIS RULE IS IN PLACE FOR YOUR SAFETY !
•No boats of any kind. The boat on the fishery is only to be used for retracting weeded fish and is only to be used as a LAST RESORT! Life jackets must be worn. Always inform another angler that is on site (ask for assistance if necessary) before boarding the boat . If you are the only angler on site you should NOT under any circumstances use the boat. Never ever wear waders or wellington type boots in the boat!
•Poplar bank, their is a maximum no of 2 anglers permitted on this bank at any time and anglers must leave at least one swim free between each other, eg, if you turn up and someone is in the view then the nearest available swim is the old island.
•Minimum line diameter 0.34.
•No braided mainlines. Braid is permitted for hooklinks but not the ultra-fine type that damage carps mouths. (If in doubt ask)
•No leaders of any kind.
•All lead systems must have the potential to eject the lead during the fight, i.e. lead clip or for chods a weak link of maximum 3lb breaking strain must be used to tie on the lead or korda chod klips that eject the lead under tention!. Inline leads maybe used if line is routed around the lead not through the centre. (lead clips must be the type that fix the swivel in place via a pin or korda hybrid type)
•Micro barb hooks only, No barbless!!!
•No 360 rigs. (Ronnie rigs)
•All captures of Carp must be weighed and photographed both side regardless of size, and pictures emailed to Ben rosemeresyndicate@outlook.com asap. ANY CARP CAUGHT WEIGHING LESS THAN 20LBS MUST BE RETAINED (after recording weight and pics of both sides) UNTIL YOUVE CONTACTED BEN AND BEEN GIVEN FURTHER INSTUCTION.
•Any Tench caught must be put into the house lake.
•All mats, slings and nets to be stored at the fishery and be brand new on joining the fishery.
•No carp to be kept in floatation slings for more than 20 minutes.
•No sacks to be brought onto the fishery.
•Respect your fellow anglers and do not cast into their water.
•All Anglers must have carp care products and treat all hook holds and external wounds ( recommended products…..N.T. labs ulcer swab and propolis)
Bait Rules
•No fake baits (including zig bugs and foam)
•No nuts.
•No shelf life boilies.
•No high oil pellets to be used (max 12% crude fat)
•No maggots
•All particles to be properly prepared.
Guests
•Ticket holders spouse and children are permitted as non fishing guests, any other guests are not permitted unless arranged with owners in advance.
•The owners reserve the right to allow fishing guests by invitation.
•Closed season
The Fishery will close on the first signs of spawning or the 1st of June depending on which comes first, it will remain closed for approximately 8 weeks.
•The owners reserve the right to close the fishery at their discretion for the welfare of the fish without refunding fees.
ANY PERSONS JUDGED TO HAVE BROKEN ANY OF THE RULES BY THE OWNERS AT THE OWNERS DISCRETION WILL BE BANNED FROM THE FISHERY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF FEE’S
