Week commencing Friday 12th September

Emerald – Been fishing expectationally well recently with lots of big weight coming out, over 100lb. Kevin Springer caught 68 fish on his morning session using a variety of baits including bread on top, dog biscuit and sweetcorn. Barry Meade from London on holiday, had a brilliant days fishing catching a mix bag with an overall weight of 89lb, as he hadn't been fishing for a few years he was very chuffed, using tutifruti groundbait and sweetcorn.

Ruby – Luke Trevor fishing with his son who had never fished before had a great time just using the simple things and a loaf of bread, definitely taking up fishing from now on. Ed Ostler from Street, wanted an easy days fishing and thats what he got catching everything from carp to tench to roach and bream, feeding with pellet and using dog biscuit as the hook bait.

Sapphire – Andy Clover, from Bridgwater using crusty bread on top caught so many that he lost count on the amount, “brilliant days fishing, definitely coming back”. Josh Bird had a a great week staying in one of the holiday cottages, fishing everyday using a variety of baits including bread, macaroni cheese, sweetcorn.

Jade – Kieran and his friend Tim fished this lake for 48 hours had 2 big carp 24lb and 18lb, using a range of boilies and prawns. However this lake has been fished a lot over the last 2 weeks, therefore not as much is coming out. Fish have been fed a lot. On the other hand a lot of people are having some good big carp out when they are catching, including Maria who had a 17ll carp, Brian having a 28lb carp and Bruce having a 15lb carp.
