Spring Heath Fishery
There are two coarse fishing pools at Spring Heath which have an emphasis on maintaining as natural surrounding as possible. They are unlike many commercial fisheries as the pools are not over fished which generally allows the angler to enjoy the surroundings, nature and of course the fishing. There is an abundance of wildlife such as Kingfishers, Buzzards, Herons and Water Voles.
This is a delightful pool that has four islands which is set in a beautifully natural surrounding on the edge of woodlands. There are an abundance of birds and animals around this pool that are only out numbered by the fish. This pool is full of fish and is ideal for the intermediate angler as well as the angler that wants plenty of action. This pool has a high stocking of carp of all varieties, tench, crucian carp, bream, roach, rudd, chub & golden orfe.
This pool has two islands and is also set to a background of woodland and farmland. This pool holds carp up to 20lbs, tench and bream in excess of 5lb, as well as chub to 3lb. There are also roach and rudd present. This is a challenging pool and is not for the angler who wants a quick bite.
